Ultra Thin glass

Product Description

‌Ultra-Thin Glass (UTG)‌ is a type of flat glass produced via the float process with a thickness range of ‌0.1 to 1.1 mm‌, featuring high transparency, a smooth surface, high hardness, and excellent chemical stability. The production process involves floating molten glass on a tin bath, where it spreads evenly, and the thickness is adjusted using edge rollers, ultimately forming a uniform glass ribbon. This revolutionary material, with a thickness as Low as ‌0.1 mm‌, offers an unparalleled strength-to-weight ratio, enabling applications that were previously impossible with conventional glass.

Thickness

‌0.03-0.1mm‌ – Foldable smartphone displays,‌0.1-0.5mm‌ – Standard ultra-thin, flexible OLED substrates,‌0.5-1.1mm‌ – Industrial-grade, LCD panels.

Size

‌Raw Glass Sheet Dimensions:‌2440 × 1650mm to 3050 × 2134mm (Float Process),Custom Cutting:‌ Supports rectangular/irregular processing from 100 × 100mm to 1244 × 1092mm.

A variety of extra-large specifications and non-standard sizes can be provided.

Application

•‌Electronics Industry: Liquid Crystal Displays (TN/STN/TFT-LCD), Touchscreen Substrates, etc‌.

•‌New Energy:Perovskite solar cell encapsulation layers‌ withstanding ‌700℃ lamination processes‌ (critical for high-temperature stability),etc.

•‌Industrial Optics:Microlens arrays (MLAs)‌ featuring ‌<0.2nm surface roughness‌ (enabling ultra-precise light control),etc.

•‌Architectural Decoration: Ultra-Thin Glass Curtain Walls, Smart Tinting Glass, etc.‌

•‌Photovoltaic Field: Thin-Film Solar Cell Modules,etc.
