Product Description
Ultra-Thin Glass (UTG) is a type of flat glass produced via the float process with a thickness range of 0.1 to 1.1 mm, featuring high transparency, a smooth surface, high hardness, and excellent chemical stability. The production process involves floating molten glass on a tin bath, where it spreads evenly, and the thickness is adjusted using edge rollers, ultimately forming a uniform glass ribbon. This revolutionary material, with a thickness as Low as 0.1 mm, offers an unparalleled strength-to-weight ratio, enabling applications that were previously impossible with conventional glass.
Thickness
0.03-0.1mm – Foldable smartphone displays,0.1-0.5mm – Standard ultra-thin, flexible OLED substrates,0.5-1.1mm – Industrial-grade, LCD panels.
